Portable solar power system
Self-contained solar power in a box--just add panels
For the ultimate in robust portable power, we put a 300 Watt inverter and two sealed batteries into a watertight Pelican case. Simply plug in your solar panels (the unit can handle approximately 250 Watts of solar input) and you're good to go. We've been running the Island Energy Systems office (2 laptops and an inkjet printer) off of this system for a couple of months. Plug and Play solar connectors make it easy to plug in your solar modules.

The Pelican Case
Our world-traveling solar power unit is contained in a tough plastic Pelican case. It's got wheels and a slide-out "hand-truck" style handle for easy wheeling over level surfaces. Carry handles on 3 sides make it easy to pick up the unit and get it where you need to be. Case must be open when the batteries are being charged to prevent buildup of hydrogen gas.
