Outer Island Power Center

Similar to the Desert Island Power Center, with a larger inverter/charger and the addition of an AC input receptacle to use generator or grid power to recharge the batteries during periods of inadequate sunshine. The Outer Island Power Center is more appropriate for year-round use because of the ability to use an AC charging source to maintain the batteries.

The Outer Island Power Center is designed for low and medium power applications where the addition of an AC to DC battery charger allows for rapid recharging of the batteries by an AC generator or the electric grid.

The Outer Island Power Center comes completely pre-assembled and wired with Magnum inverter/chargers rated for 600, 1200 or 1500 Watts in the modified sine wave version or 1000 Watts pure sine wave. Additional installed components include a 250 Watt MPPT PV charge and load controller, DC and AC rated circuit breakers and a 100 Amp DC current sensing shunt for connecting a remotely located Trimetric 2020 battery amp-hour meter.
