Island Energy Systems is based on Orcas Island, in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.

Our mission is to provide solutions for people seeking to become independent of the electric grid. We can supply complete solar, wind and micro-hydroelectric system packages for homeowners and contractors to install themselves.

We are working on an online system configuration calculator that will allow anyone to design their own independent energy system. We also plan to offer solar educational tools and videos to help demystify the technology involved so that our customers are educated about what they need to empower themselves with solar electricity.
